As a Pharmacist and a holder of a master’s degree in public health, Asawir has occupied a range of positions from technical roles with the World Health Organisation and the Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health to Strategic/Operational roles with UK AID, working on Neglected Tropical Diseases and other various funded health programmes.

 

Managing health programmes with expertise in public health, epidemiology, and health economics has fuelled a successful professional experience in planning, coordination, problem-solving and efficient delivery, with governmental and international agencies, guided by gap assessments and sustainability frameworks.
